Trinket Boxes and Keepsake Boxes

Four or three drawer box covered in Fortuny fabric for your desk or dresser. Use for sewing accessories, jewelry, and other small treasures.

Cartonnage is the technique used to turn fabric, paper and glue into boxes, books, journals, etc.

The hand detailing is evident both inside and outside the box.

Fortuny fabric is produced in Venice in small batches; no two ever the same. The dyed mottled grounds are then hand printed using carved blocks, the same today as it was in the 1920's. Fortuny is sold exclusively through the design trade to a knowing clientele. The fabric alone retails for $760 per yard.
